Between Seasons presents paintings, printmaking, and sculpture by Gregory Kammer, exploring the working landscapes and communities of the Pacific Northwest.
Farmers, fishermen, ferry riders, boatyard workers, beekeepers, and other inhabitants appear within environments shaped by labor, weather, tide, and memory. These landscapes are not passive scenery; they are active forces that influence how people live, work, and understand their place in the world.
The artwork moves between realism and abstraction. The small hand-held sculptures function as abstract studies of structure, balance, weight, and feeling. Their discoveries inform the realistic paintings and prints, where recognizable people and places become part of larger, unfolding narratives.
Between Seasons invites viewers to pause within moments of transition—to consider what is changing, what remains, and what can be felt in the space between one season and the next.
